Quality Documentation Specialist

We are looking for a mission-driven, motivated, and passionate Quality documentation Specialist who will be responsible for creating and maintaining quality control records at Gourmey.

You will report directly to the Head of Quality Assurance and Food Safety and will be part of a team of 3 people.

What you will be doing

Gourmey’s Quality Documentation Specialist will play a central role in documenting the day-to-day operations of the various R&D and production activities of the company.

Within the role, you will be:

Creating documentation in compliance with cGMPs and ISO 9001 that meets Gourmey’s requirements before distributing through the company for implementation and for regulatory agencies.

Acting as a point of contact for the coordination in creating specific documentation (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures) as required.

Writing, reviewing, and updating SOPs for multiple R&D laboratories & production facilities

Drafting & proofreading quality-related documents upon request.

Ensuring documentation integrity and keeping Quality Management System (QMS) up to date.

Keeping up to date with Gourmey’s requirements around documentation, implementing changes as necessary, and being responsible for change management.

Analyzing data related to Quality documentation (documents created, version tracking, implementation).

Compiling and storing quality department documentation (policies, SOPs, reports, and associated documentation).

Training colleagues on the requirements around documentation.

Revising documents and ensuring that all staff is using correct and updated versions.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of organization and is a good multi-tasker and strong communicator.

This role will work closely with the Head of Quality, Head of Regulatory and the Lab manager, and various scientists and engineers in Gourmey.

Requirements+2 years of proven experience in a Biotech / Pharmaceutical Industry or other types of GLP/GMP environments in a similar role.Proficient in English and French, both written and spoken.Experience implementing and keeping QMS (ISO 9001).Good knowledge of technologies and methodologies in biotechnology and food are extremely valuable.Attention to detail.Knowledge of both Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Bachelor or Master degree in biological sciences or equivalent.You are a friendly and open, yet firm and effective communicator across the broad spectrum of scientific employees within an internationally staffed institution.You have an efficient and self-organized working style and know how to meet deadlinesEnthusiastic, with a strong work ethic and self-motivation; a sense of ownership and responsibility to drive outcomes.A positive, can-do attitude.
