What is the purpose of your role?
As a Financial Controller, together with the Head of Finance and the Business Controller, you will have a major role in setting up and further developing Mosa Meat's finance department on different facets. An important goal for the coming period will be the further optimization of the financial processes.
What are your key responsibilities?
You have an active role in organizing all the existing and new administrative processes more efficiently.
Act as a sparring partner towards management and internal/external stakeholders.
Support the Head of Finance and the rest of the company with all the projects from the finance department that will enable the company to grow rapidly and reach its goals.
What will you do?
Analyze the company's financial data, take care of the monthly/quarterly/annual closing, and take care of the financial and tax reports.
Prepare the statutory annual accounts and be responsible for the coordination of the external financial audit.
Ensure the adequacy of internal controls over financial reporting, transaction processing and the recorded accountability of the assets and liabilities.
Support the formal annual budgeting and quarterly/monthly forecasting processes.
What are we looking for?
Solid knowledge of finance administration and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. This would most likely be your second or third step in your career.
Completed education in financial-economic direction.
Has extensive experience in and a clear vision on process optimization.
Familiar and comfortable with the newest IT features within your profession or willing to deep dive in it where needed.
You are naturally resourceful, but you are also very practical and hands-on. We are looking for a hard-working, organized and dedicated team-player.
Passionate about our mission, and excited about working in a commercial start-up environment.
Must be able to work well under pressure and be a fast learner who is adaptive/flexible and efficient in his work.
Good verbal and written communication skills (minimum B2 level English).
